Oh wait, I totally did!!!!!!!!
Did I ever mention that I have 2 copies of The Nerdist Way?
I bought the first copy on the day it came out at my local book store, but the second copy was given to me by Mr. Chris Hardwick himself!!!!!!!!
When I saw him in Toronto back in February, I accidentally forgot my copy at home. I spent an entire day running around downtown Toronto searching for a copy of this book. I finally found a copy in the Eaton Center, but the price was almost $40 (a little too much for a book that I already own). I figured that he would either have copies of the book at the show, or posters to sign.
After the first show I went to the signing table to present to him the VHS TARDIS. Needless to say, he loved it. He asked me if I had a copy of the book that he wanted me to sign, and I told him that I had forgotten my copy at home and that all I had was this mini postcard type flyer. He immediately reached over to his pile of books, picked one up, and started signing it to me.
I was in shock. The man who I respect and admire just gave me a copy of his book. He than asked if I wanted a picture. I don’t think I stopped smiling for at least 6 hours (it also helped that I got to see his show again immediately following the first encounter).
Here are my 2 copies of The Nerdist Way. I’m pretty sure that Chris brought copies with him from the states, because they have different coloured covers.

As you can see, the Canadian version follows in the books colour scheme (yellow & blue), whereas the American version is black and grey.

Also, the copy that he gave me is signed 4 times, because I had him sign it after every show.
I saw this restaurant while walking around downtown Toronto today.
I can’t help but think that it is one of the Dalek’s schemes to infiltrate our society.
I’m on to you Daleks.
and who’s up for bowling on Friday/Saturday?
I guess I’ll just have to watch it in that hotel room that I have booked, that is right down the street from the comedy club that I would have been seeing him at.
I guess I’ll just have to settle with only seeing him 4 times.
At least he didn’t cancel the entire trip.
Also, it will be awkward, because Chris will be on Jimmy Fallon, and Weird Al will be on Craig Ferguson. ON THE SAME NIGHT!
So, I know that Chris likes to have people show up to his shows in costume, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to go as. And then it hit me.
I’m going to all 5 shows, across 3 days. So on day 1 I go as The Doctor, day 2 I go as The Doctor, and day 3 I go as… THE DOCTOR.
To be more specific, day 1 I’m Nine, day 2 I’m Ten, day 3 I’m Eleven.
I NEED to pull this off.
