New Hat. Old Sonic.

It has been too long since I have built a TARDIS. You guys remember TARDIS 1, and TARDIS 2, and who could forget The Nerdist TARDIS.

And just so you guys know, I also build other stuff besides the TARDIS. If you ever have any requests, just let me know and I’ll do my best at building it!

That awkward moment when 11 is flying 10’s TARDIS in The Time of Angels.

It’s at the 4:38 mark (when River is flying from the Byzantium to the TARDIS) and all of you would know this too if you listened to Commentary tracks.

I walked out of my LCBS, and I saw this out of the corner of my eye, and for a fraction of a second I thought he was here.

Turns out it was a port-o-potty, and not a machine that could take me anywhere in space and time.

Everyone should go IMMEDIATELY and buy or commission a doll off my friend Morgan. She just opened her etsy shop and I’m telling you firsthand, these things are SO GREAT. These photos do not do their beauty justice.

My personal John Watson plush she made me for my birthday is testament to that.

Also her creativity is endless, so I’m sure she could do wonders with any character you can think of!

I may or may not have just placed a custom commission on one of these little things.

Yesterday I got to hang out with Graeme Burk and Robert Smith?. They were really nice guys and you should check out the book that they wrote about Doctor Who. It’s called “Who Is The Doctor: The Unofficial Guide to Doctor Who-The New Series”

I suggest that you pick it up if you like reading about behind the scenes trivia and references that could only come from giant Whovians. They were dropping references to classic episodes, like we (new series fans) would reference

You can pick it up HERE

Or, if you’re American, HERE

They also brought a homemade TARDIS that was only about 4 feet tall, but was still pretty epic. I didn’t get any pictures of it while it was standing up, but I did get some of it while it was being loaded onto their van.

It took me a whole lot of restraint to not whip out my phone and play my ringtone as it was being lifted up.

3:00am + Sharpie + Paper = This

I’m not a narcissist or anything, but my layout has an option for a logo, and I thought I’d try to incorporate it.

Dear Future Wife,

Now you know know what you’re signing up for.

Signed,
Your Future Husband

P.s. Our children will be raised on a healthy diet of Doctor Who, Joss Whedon, and Harry Potter.

Hey, Remember the time my TARDIS materialized in front of Penn Station in New York City!

(and because I’m still really excited about it, here is the article written about it)
